Gypsum stucco – what is it made from.
Discover how ecological plaster stucco can give your space a unique character, while supporting sustainable development. We produce our eco-friendly gypsum stucco mainly from gypsum, a material with unrivaled versatility. Gypsum is characterized by universal applications, finding its place in both construction and medicine. Its popularity is due to its ease of processing, availability and environmental friendliness.
Unlike polyurethane or polystyrene, our gypsum stucco is elegant and remains environmentally friendly. When burning polyurethane or polystyrene, toxic substances are released which can be dangerous to humans. One of the main reasons we choose gypsum is our strong commitment to the environment.
Fiber glass which is the other additive to our stucco is resistant to fire and high temperatures and can be used as a fire resistance measure.
Our stucco is only produced from natural gypsum reinforced with fiberglass. Both of these products are non-flammable, have great thermal insulation properties and have a relatively low risk of emitting harmful substances during a fire compared to other materials.
Enviromental requirements in construction
A variety of building materials are used for construction. These materials must meet appropriate standards and building regulations in order to improve safety in the event of fire. Fire resistant materialssuch as plaster are therefore readily used within the industry as a safety measure against fire.
In public buildings, European Union directives and national regulations play a key role in ensuring indoor safety. One of the important directives of the European Union in this context is regulation of the European Union 89/106/EWG of 21 December 1988 on the conformity of construction products, known as the Construction Products Directive (CPD).
The CPD (Construction Products Directive) is the foundation for assessing and declaring the properties of construction products, with an emphasis on their impact on the health, environment and safety of building users. The implementation of this directive is a key step towards building safe and sustainable spaces.
Compliance with regulations regarding non-toxic materials is a key element in creating a healthy and safe environment inside public buildings. That's why more and more people, both owners of public buildings and stucco enthusiasts, choose our ecological gypsum stucco. Together, as a community of conscious choices, we create spaces where aesthetics and health coexist.
